Planning for Teaching
My mentor teacher has 2 levels to teach, They are Mathayom 3 and mathayom 5. As far as I observe, both of levels have many differences, one of them is Mathayom 3 is noisier than mathayom 5. And also, Mathayom 5 more can accept the lesson than Mathayom 3. Actually, I have observed both levels. I have many classes that I have observed they are M 5/1, M 5/2, M 5/3, M 5/4, M 3/4 and M 3/1. Actually, I want to teach in all classes that My mentor teacher teaches. I also have observed in mathayom 3 but My mentor teacher said that Mathayom 3 has already finished the lesson and now they have evaluated examination. Thus, I just teach Mathayom 5 only. In mathayom 5 have 4 classes which have a different major. M 5/1 major is Chinese major, M 5/2 major is the English major, meanwhile in M 5/3 and 5/4 are science major. Discussing planning for teaching, absolutely My mentor teacher has a lesson plan but she uses it sometimes because it is very flexible. She said also that sometimes what is written in the lesson plan is different within the fact because we face something unexpectedly.
Preparing Lessons and Materials
For preparing the lessons, my mentor teacher gives same materials for all classes both in mathayom 5 and mathayom 3. Because in this school there are no media so my mentor teacher takes the material from workbook and others resources. My mentor teacher said that this school is different with others, this school is still the small school and lack of technology so there is no projector or television in each room. But she said for the next year the director will buy and give each class the media.
Elevator student’s book is students’ book that usually used by My mentor teacher for giving the material. That book is for Mathayom 5. The Publisher is Richmond Publishing which was printed in Thailand so the cover of this book written by Thailand Language. My mentor teacher also looks for the materials on the internet.

Teaching in Class
I observe My mentor teacher many times until now, here the following list of observation :
- Friday, 26th January 2018. I observed Mathayom 3/4 at 08.20 – 09.10. Actually, My mentor teacher used these book and discussed some material in those book. I forget the title but I think it is about pupil, retina and etc. My mentor teacher explained to the students by Thailand Language full so I can’t understand even a word. As I catch the explanation, My mentor teacher explained what is in the book then She elicited the students to answer. I did not what happens in this class. Some of the students did not give attention to My mentor teacher and busy with their own activity. Some of them were very noisy and they slept in the class. Also, there was a student who wore the blanket in the class. Even, I did not know if My mentor teacher angry with them but Kroo Nee expression was okay with that.
- Friday, 26th January 2018 I observed Mathayom 3/1 at 10.00 – 10.50. The class was the same with the Mathayom 3/4. My mentor teacher also discussed the same material with M 3/4 about the Pupil. Retina and etc. Some of the students also were busy with theirselves. My mentor teacher also said that most of the Mathayom 3 were just like that, most of them were noisy and when the teachers taught them in the class they didn’t listen to them.
- Friday, 26th January 2018 I observed M 5/2 at 13.30 – 14.20 My mentor teacher explained something to remember from student’s book. Actually, she explained by Thai Langauge for the most so, I can’t understand them. The students here were lovely students. In the first, My mentor teacher left the students with me because she would go for a while, she asked me to talk with them. Actually, I would give them a game but I had no idea and I was very nervous so I just introduced myself and asking their name. They were English major so their English was better than others. They asked me many things and gave me the direction to the old airport which there was a concert.
- Monday, 29th January 2018. I observed Mathayom 6/1. Because Khro Nee did not have a class to observe. I and Aulia are asked to observe Mathayom 6/1 which is the teacher was a foreigner, actually, I did not know the name and his original country. He explained about reading text in students’ book and explain the difficult word. The student paid the attention seriously but still, there are some students were busy with their own activities.
- Tuesday, 30th January 2018 08.20 – 09.10 I observed M 5/4, in this class, there was a reading test. The students had to present their homework in pair or group about the chosen topic by them. The topic was something to remember, it was picked from students’ handbook. The student had to translate them to Thailand language and present it in front of the class by a paper that they had decorated. They were very creative students, the paper was so amazing.
- Tuesday, 30th January 2018 10.00 – 10.50 I observed M 5/1. My mentor teacher gave the same task for all of Mathayom 5 classes. That was reading test just like the others, but in this class, the students had to make it in the class and for the next meeting they can do the reading test directly.
- Tuesday, 30th January 2018 I observed Mathayom 5/3. Actually, I did not know My mentor teacher said because she spoke with Thailand language, but as I guess, she told the students about me, introducing me and also explaining the task, perhaps.
- Wednesday, 1st February 2018 at 10.00 – 10.50 I observed Mathayom 5/2. They had a reading test. The students came forward to speak up one by one.
- Thursday, 2nd February 2018 at 08.20 – 09.10 I observe Mathayom 5/3. They also have a reading test about something to remember.
Measurement and Evaluation
For this case, my mentor teacher said that mid exam and final exam will be the measurement evaluation. The daily test also becomes a measurement and evaluation, like the previous day when my mentor teacher gave them about reading test. Actually, that test is not only given the score in reading but also in writing, speaking, translating, creativity, pronunciation, and reading and also the student’s confidence. And for the special students that is slower than the others friends, my mentor teacher usually give them more exercise and homework.
