#LatePost 5th February 2018
Today is Monday but my weekend isn’t finished yet. Today, I and Aulia are asked to explore Chiang Rai. Actually, Khroo Nee has an appointment with me to explore the Chiang Rai. We go there with school car I guess. Khroo Nee also invites Khroo Min which is a new English teacher here to accompany us. Fortunately, Khroo Nee and Khroo Min don’t have a class in the morning. Starting with Wat Huai Pla Kung Temple, it is our first destination. The place isn’t far from the school. It takes around 20 minutes. The location of the temple is in the slope of the hill. This is the biggest Budha statue in Chiang Rai, meanwhile, there are 3 temples there.
Then, We are asked to go the top of the temple by a transportation there. To go the peak of the temple we have to pay 40 baht because we are a foreigner, but if the local people just pay 20 baht. The peak is on the 26th floor which we use lift for go there. In the top of the temple full of beautiful craft, and The view is so amazing from here. After taking a photo, we are back to the car and going to the next destination. These are Singha Park and Tea farm.
I like to be here because the place is so clean and the air is so fresh. It looks like in Japan. Fortunately, the flowers don’t blossom yet so we can’t see the beautiful flowers. The tea farm also so clean and incredible view. After taking many photos, we look for Muslim food because we are so hungry. It is so difficult to look for Muslim food. Lucky me, there is Muslim food in the town. And, surprisingly we meet Retsa, Novita and Diah there.
After having a lunch, we go back to the school because Khroo Nee has a class in the afternoon. Today is joyful Monday.
Then, in the evening I go by myself to look for a paper for preparing my teaching practice tomorrow.
